B. A. Mullen, publisher of 42 Stories Anthology, asked me to do an interview after my story, Being Psychic Is Weirder than You’d Expect, received an Honorable Mention for that book’s Paranormal category. There will be a follow-up Zoom interview posted on YouTube soon. I wrote this story under the pen name Alexi Karnikov. The interview can be found here.

42 Stories Anthology will be released in November 2024. It represents a Herculean effort of story collection, and I’m very excited to see it in print. It also features my friend, the brilliant Caitlin Orr!

Hi everyone! My story, FAME, was just performed in Manawaker Studio’s Flash Fiction Podcast. Yes, the all caps title in intentional, but it only makes sense in the written version so I guess not really relevant in an audio format.

I love literary magazines and anthologies, but I also think podcasts are a great vehicle for storytelling. I (sadly) have way more time to listen to things in my car than I do to sit and read. Showers are also a great time to listen, which is especially relevant for the setting of FAME.

Anyway, find FAME at this link or where wherever you listen to podcasts. It’s only 7 minutes long. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone! I was interviewed on the podcast Drinking with Authors (run by the amazing 4 Horsemen Publications). They’re a refreshingly great publishing house and talking to them about writing, stories, sci-fi, food, and paranormal creatures was a lot of fun. I drink Aviation Gin and discover (to my horror) that Twilight Vampires are underrated. The more you know!

Check out both parts of the interview in Episodes 316 and 317 (the 1st is the full interview, and the 2nd is a lightning round of quick answers and fast asides) wherever you listen to podcasts.
